Richard Laidlow – Official IRONMAN Coach At IRONMAN UK 2016
Richard Laidlow will be present at IRONMAN UK as it returns to Lancashire. He is one of the official coaches to have been selected.
In addition to the IRONMAN Coaching Certificate, Richard is a certified Professional Training Peaks Coach, and a qualified British Triathlon and British Cycling Coach. He has been immersed in Triathlon for nearly 3o years so is very well placed to answer any questions you may have with regard to training and racing. Richard is a member of the IRONMAN Coaches Association.

Celebrating 12 years on the IRONMAN European Circuit
With a course that features breathtaking views, a beautiful lake swim in Pennington Flash it is a spectator-friendly course.
IRONMAN UK returns to Bolton and Lancashire.
There are numerous viewing opportunities for spectators at the start and T1. Cyclists will embark on a 112-mile, two-loop journey from Pennington Flash and onto the breathtaking Lancashire countryside. The bike course includes the famous Sheep House Lane climb twice where spectators can get up close and personal with the athletes in true Tour de France style. The run begins at T2 at the Macron Stadium and athletes will head into Bolton town centre, where they complete three loops of a circuit before finishing in Le Mans Crescent in the shadow of the Albert Hall.
IRONMAN UK offers 40 qualifying slots for the 2016 edition of the IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona.

Amongst Richard’s athletes competing at the event will be Claire Wood from Ful- on – Tri. I am sure she will be hoping for great results at her first ever full IRONMAN following her great second place a few weeks ago at IRONMAN UK 70.3.
